  • Grischona Tower

    Chrischona Tower

The 250 m high television tower is located on the edge of the canton of Basel-Stadt on the border with Germany. It is the highest free-standing structure in Switzerland and offers a view as far as the north face of the Eiger. In addition to the tower, however, there are also the old border guard paths to discover. These lead through the entire forest around the tower. However, if you want to explore them, you should be good on foot. The paths are very narrow and partly overgrown with bushes.
